Our Mission.

To bridge the gap between life-saving devices and the people in our communities through technology and education.

At Jump Start Heart, we make the difference between life and death. By identifying, creating and implementing life-saving technology and education systems, we can bring competence to chaos.

Founded in 2019, the efforts of Jump Start Heart will provide automatic external defibrillators (AEDs) and other life-saving technology to our communities. In addition, we will create mapping systems and education programs to be interwoven with the devices we have at our disposal. Technology provides a way to save our own lives, but we have to connect people with the access and knowledge to use it when time is critical.

We picture a world where AEDs are as accessible as fire extinguishers.

The Facts.

Sudden cardiac arrests are not picky. They can happen to anyone, which is what makes them so impactful and powerful. They are responsible for killing more people than breast cancer, lung cancer, or AIDS each year. They take a life at least every 90 seconds and they annihilate 95-percent of the people who experience them.

At Jump Start Heart, we’re waging a battle, starting with devices, education, mapping, and properly connecting people with life-saving technology that affects not only 350,000 people in the U.S. each year, but also their families and friends. Together we can make a serious difference and our systems will enable anyone to save a life.

The Truth.

The number of people killed by SCAs each year is equivalent to the number of people who will die from: Alzheimers disease, assault with firearms, breast cancer, cervical cancer, colorectal cancer, diabetes, HIV, house fires, motor vehicle accidents, prostate cancer and suicides - combined.

Help us change history.
